If Wyle E. Coyote had enough money to buy all that ACME crap,

Hi guys,

Wow. I think I tend to come to this site, well, infrequently these days at most. It has been about 18 months or so I think, and it feels like a lot in my own life has changed since then, and moreso since the start of 2005 when I stopped frequenting this board due to work commitments in the middle of nowhere within Australia.

I just want to say that coming here really brought back a lot of memories, good memories. Of all the messageboards I frequented over the years, this one was certainly the friendliest, and in no way did it ever feel 'fake' like as though people felt obliged to say nice things. Of course, I don't believe too many bad words were shared while I frequented more regularly anyway because the quality of work hosted here was amazing.

Quite simply, this is deservedly, and in my own humble opinion the best of the RCT websites that existed during the peak time of RCT2. There was no 'elitist' attitude that shunned new players, positive criticism was encouraged, it was not just a messageboard, but a true community.

Thanks guys, ladies for the memories. A part of me has an itch just writing this to fire up RCT2 and hear the sounds of some happy peeps, the ka-ching of a profitable coaster, and zooming back to admire the handiwork of what I created. To be honest, I never was happy with my creations, they always paled in comparison to the true talent that many members of the community had, so I'd find myself going to those parks instead and looking around in admiration... Fossil's Candyland park was one such classic example. Curse you Fossil for setting such a high calibre of beauty in a park tongue.gif And now I see there is a new Emerald City map going too.

Anyway, enough of my reflection back on the good times. Take care all, I'll still be lurking around the place at times.

That's pretty much why I like this forum. I wish we could breath some life into it. I am trying to affilliate with the Uces forum. Maybe that will help. But it would be nice to get Mart affiliated with Pirates. Get us all hooked up together and RCT Space. get some inter-forum compos started? I'm just trying to generate traffic between the forums, and compos is what I'm focusing on.
